On December 2013, 4h the project about the restoration of the paint of Vasari started, La Deposizione and a maintenance on La Maddalena Penitente by Caravaggio and on San Giovanni, from Caravaggio. The place of restoration work is inside Galleria Doria in a dedicated area but open to the public who will can daily follow the works. The paint of Vasari has been removed from its position in the Salone Aldobrandini and it has been moved to the dedicated area of the works where it has undergone an anoxia treatment for 40 days.
